in the Historic Olde Towne Portsmouth business district, in the
500 block of High Street, you will find the delightful art studio
gallery
that is Olde
Towne Art. Our art studio and gallery first opened in 2000, and was located
a block up from our new and completely renovated space. Under new ownership,
Olde Towne Art has taken a new direction to create an open-air, welcoming
art studio and gallery featuring fabulously talented up-and-coming artists
on site seven days a week. In addition, our experienced artists teach a variety
of art classes to all ages and skill levels in our classroom behind our gallery.
Our studio gallery is truly unique, inviting and full of gorgeous art and
creative talent. We invite you to come in and explore the many various types
and styles of art which are created right on site! Feel free to come in and
watch as a masterpiece is created before your eyes, chat with the artists,
and even have them create something one-of-a-kind just for you! You’ll
be amazed as the panoply of color and texture surround you.
